Eeee I had not seen this before!
OMG I need to start watching TBBT again and then I need to catch up on the previously aired episodes FAST.

Isn't it awesome? I adore that show. Definitely the funniest show on right now. Never fails to crack me up. :D

PS- How's the California trip planning going? Do you have set dates yet? Let me know when you're going to be in LA and we can plan a meet up. :)

I used to think it was awesome but idk I kinda lost interest during season 3 (or maybe it was 4?) - because I increasingly got the feeling that we as an audience were meant to laugh at the geeks, rather than with them.

The planning is going well! We've started looking at hotels and last night I booked a room at a hostel in SF for the first part of the trip. I will definitely be in LA from Monday 23 July until Thursday 26 July, possibly a little longer (one of my friends will be going to a conference in Santa Cruz 26-29 July. My other friend and I have not decided whether we want to spend more time in LA, head back to SF or go somewhere else on those dates)
I am so excited :DDD

I haven't been a steady watcher, lol. I usually only catch every other episode, so I guess I haven't been paying attention enough to notice a shift. But now that you mention it, there is a definite difference in the humor of late. Maybe they're hitting a lull period and they're running out of ideas. Happens to the best of them unfortunately *sigh*.

Yay! *marks those dates in calender* Are you planning of the tourist sites for the LA portion of your trip? Disney? Universal? Hollywood? La Brea Tar Pits? Glen Ivy Hot Springs? Maybe we can join up on one of those days? Or, if not, we can meet for dinner on one of those nights. As for those three extra days... have you given any thought to maybe coming down to San Diego (San Diego is about a two hours drive from LA)? You'd love it! Nice beaches. We've got Sea World. The Wild Animal Park. Balboa Park (second largest recreational park in the U.S.). Some wineries. Just putting it out there (though I'd totally understand if you wanna stick to LA and San Fran, both are awesome. Just thought I'd throw it out as a possibility).

I'm excited, too! :D

We've been focusing mostly on booking hotels so far, so my schedule while in LA is still wide open. I do know that I want to see Hollywood, particularly the Walk of Fame and I'm considering signing up for a studio tour. I also want to go to Santa Monica and Venice Beach. Am curious about the Tar Pits and really hope I'll be able to go to the Getty Center. I haven't really considered Disney and I have never even heard of Glen Ivy Hot Springs hehe.
I would love to meet up either for a whole day or just dinner!!

I have actually considered spending the weekend after I've visited LA in San Diego - I have heard great things about the city and I would absolutely LOVE to go to Sea World (lol I am watching the Sea World Penguin Cam obsessively). Do you know if it is possible to travel from LA to San Diego by public transport? My friends and I might rent a car for our stay in LA but only if one of my friends who are going to that conference in Santa Cruz is willing to drive as the rest of us would rather not. (I'm not an experienced driver and just the thought of driving in the US freaks me out a little.)

I'm also considering flying into St.Louis for the weekend since I would love to meet up with verizonhorizon again while I'm in the US, but St.Louis is pretty far away so idk :/

Yay! I'm glad you're considering San Diego. You'd love it. It's gorgeous here. But like I said, even if you don't, we'll definitely still meet up in LA. For sure. :)

Yes, the amtrak (rail) goes from LA to San Diego. And there are shuttles, too. And depending on which day I drive up to see you guys I can always bring you back down with me. Totally up to you.

It would be awesome to meet up with verizonhorizon as well while on you're on your trip! That would be fun! I wouldn't blame you for wanting to do that instead, lol.

Anything you decide, I'm positive you'll have an awesome time. It sounds like you're planning a great trip. Can't wait to meet you in July! *hugs*

I met up with verizonhorizon in NYC when I was there on vacation two years ago and I'll be bummed to miss out on meeting up with her again while I'm in the US. On the other hand, St.Louis is pretty far away and flights expensive so I need to consider both the fares and how long the flight is. (I'll be spending quite a lot of time on planes going to and from the US heh) I also have to take into consideration what my friend who is not going to that conference wants to do.

Anyway, I'll keep you posted and I can't wait to meet you too! ♥
